Jason Momoa, known for his roles in ‘Aquaman’ and ‘Game of Thrones,’ was cast as the lead, while Gerard Butler and Gal Gadot, both recognized for their action roles, joined the project. The collaboration was seen as a strategic move by Netflix to leverage star power for its original content.
